POETIC
VANDALISM

Joanna Koziej, also known as Malarka (“woman who paints” in Polish), creates painted ceramic tile works shaped by gesture, symbolism, and emotional memory.

Moving between public space, exhibitions, and visual storytelling, her practice explores personal narratives, fleeting emotions, and the poetics of everyday experience.

Slide Background
IMPULSE
Joanna works through intuition-driven exploration. Her practice is rooted in observing natural environments and translating their color, rhythm, and tension into visual form. The result is work that builds narrative through gesture, contrast, and movement.
