My creative process is connected to journeying, even more so, since I live and work in a van. Setting off with a destination planned, following intuition for discoveries. The latest “Making Waves” series, fueled by time spent at the Portuguese coast, explores the ocean’s deeply symbolic and sensual side. I have learnt to read the waves and trust that the cyclical nature of the ocean may hold reference to the rest of the world. Each painting shows a different reflection from burning desire to complete calmness. Follow the hints of emotions behind each work through titles with selected lyrics from the music accompanying me throughout this period.
