hand painted prototypes for ceramic tile art collection
The latest Malarka ceramic tile paintings are inspired by my journey across Türkiye. I used watercolor sketches to capture the essence of its majestic landscapes. The mountain formations, with their varied shades and colors of rock, layered like brushstroke gradients, provided the inspiration for both the theme and the grid structure of the designs.
To develop prototypes for this new collection, I partnered with the Iznik Foundation, which specializes in reviving traditional Turkish ceramics, including the production of unique quartz-based paints and glazes.
Thanks to this collaboration, I’ve created 22 different designs, half of which are now part of the Iznik Foundation’s collection and are on display in their Istanbul showroom.
With this presentation — my selection of unique designs in soft and bold color variations — I invite you to join me as a partner to produce a fine art collection.
